Myron was born and raised in Detroit Lakes, MN. Myron has always been an avid outdoorsman. Growing up the youngest of 7 children Myron spent much of his childhood outdoors, fishing with his dad and older brothers, wood working with his uncle Henry, ETC... As an adult Myron moved to Fargo, ND and married. He is the father of 4 daughters who all married young men who are also avid outdoorsmen.

He has always been in love with making sawdust. From cabinetry and furniture building to scroll saw work. As of late his son-in-law took up dark house spear fishing and talked him into another hobby, carving decoys. Myron is glad he did as he is having a blast.

In the summer months when there is no Ice Myron enjoys fishing with his wife and grandkids, carving small lures and making his own spinner baits.
